Welcome: 
The Chairman, Dave Shave-Wall welcomed all apologising for the late start (8.15) by when only 10 persons had arrived. This may be due to the date clashing with the first day of Astrofest, at which many members were present.

John Murphy took the lead in this showing his recent pictures of the area of the sky and of M1

 Item: 
John Stapleton gave a presentation on Mars that included images and information not seen or heard by many of the members before.

Observing: 
The weather did not allow for observing.

Close:
The meeting closed and members were invited to reconvene at the pub.
