Practical Meeting October 11th 2007 (Season 4)
Venue: Cliddesden Primary School

Open:  The Chairman being unable to attend the VC, Bob Trevan welcomed all.

The topic of discussion was “Mounts”.  Bob Trevan led a discussion in which several members displayed and described various telescope mounts, their advantages and disadvantages.

Coffee:

Admin.:  The Secretary said that he had received a letter from Neil Perry explaining and apologising for his continued absence from meetings.  Neil also returned his Library book.

Informal discussions continued and JS tried to view an object with his Dobsonian to demonstrate how quickly it could be set up. The star Vega was found but the mist and cloud was too thick to allow any further observing.
